Nicky - Brand Executive
What do you find most satisfying about your role?
Because our work follows the life cycle of a brand, every day is different. You can be doing everything from research and development to putting together business cases and developing brands.
What do you find most frustrating?
The time it can take sometimes for a new product to be launched.
Describe a project you are particularly proud of.
Last year I lobbied for an upgrade of the Club Europe concourse in Terminal 1 at Heathrow. The passenger feedback has been good, and it also helped boost staff morale in the area.
What three qualities do you see in this organisation that make you proud to work for it?
The diversity, the commitment to doing an outstanding job, and the talented people here.
How would you describe the training and development you have received?
The investment in training and the quality of the facilities, especially Quest, is great. On a personal level, I'm currently being sponsored by British Airways to study for an MBA. I've had the support I've needed from my manager.
Where do you see yourself in two years time?
Hopefully as a manager somewhere in the business. My MBA studies have sparked off an interest in people, so I might look to Human Resources. Alternatively, I'd like to be in Strategy.
