| World Sales Delivery World Sales Delivery is there to offer our Field Sales teams the backing and expertise they need in order to take advantage of new opportunities and developments within the marketplace. World Sales Delivery specialists tend to be office based, primarily at Waterside. However, the type of work they do and the challenges they face make them genuine partners with the sales teams at the sharp end of the business. Most of their responsibilities are focused on the following areas: Sales Effectiveness Sales Effectiveness is about helping Field Sales teams generate revenue. One of their greatest contributions to a dispersed sales force is their ability to provide an overall picture of what is happening around the world. The Sales Effectiveness teams work closely with their colleagues in Revenue Management in order to identify where new opportunities lie. In many ways they are a one-stop shop for our global sales force. They provide assistance with campaigns, become involved in promotions and represent the interests of the Field Sales force at Corporate Headquarters. Alliance Sales Alliance Sales works with our alliance partners in order to identify effective ways of selling together. They don't discuss prices; rather they look at joint strategies, policies and campaigns that are to the advantage of all parties. Sales Strategy Drawing together data from all over the world, as well as information generated centrally, Sales Strategy help Field Sales generate effective sales strategies. The Sales Strategy teams use this information to review progress against current targets, and to devise new ways of meeting our sales goals. Global Distribution Our Sales and Account Managers spend a large amount of their time out on the road with clients, and need up to date information at their fingertips. Distribution Development supplies them with the hardware and software tools to do their job effectively. |
