Aircraft Services Although much of what goes on within Aircraft Services happens behind the scenes, we're right in the front line of customer service. When customers choose to travel with British Airways, they take certain things for granted. They assume their bags will be loaded onto the right aircraft, that the cabin will be clean, that the aircraft will be pushed back from the stand on time, that the special meal they ordered in advance will actually be on board. Needless to say, everything we do has to be achieved within extremely tight timescales. An incoming aircraft could be on its stand for as little as an hour before its next scheduled departure. By the time the chocks are on and the passengers have disembarked, our teams will already be working on it.
