| Charlotte - Publisher, eBA Production What do you find most satisfying about your role? As the publisher responsible for co-ordinating web developments across 90 countries, I work with people from all over the world. One moment I can be discussing the integration of a Valentine's promotion for the Italian web pages, the next I can be flying off to the Far East to talk about launching a new regional site. Describe a project you are particularly proud of. Managing the rewrite of our corporate web guidelines. We transformed a large downloadable Word file into an interactive and searchable set of guidelines. It's also given us some best practice standards for other eCommerce interactive channels. What was the most telling thing said about you in a school report? They used to say I was too quiet in class. Someone recently observed that I sometimes talk to myself at work (actually, I was talking to my incoming e-mails!), so perhaps I'm making up for lost time. What's your favourite film? The Full Monty. It had some very sad moments, but was also great entertainment. Where would you have been in a fantasy life? Whiling away the hours painting pictures on a private Caribbean island, where mosquitoes have become extinct and cold calorie-free beer is on tap. What did you want to be when you were eight years old? I wanted to be a vet until I discovered I become squeamish at the sight of blood. What qualities do you see as being important in your job? Dealing with so many projects for so many people around the world means the ability to juggle several things at once is vital. It's also important to stay calm in order to manage the volume of requests without crisis. Diplomacy is a must and a sense of humour is always handy. What's your ideal Sunday? Reading the papers from cover to cover with a long, lazy and sunbathed picnic. | ||||||||||
